We are excited to announce that Dr. Margaret Boltja has joined our team at Southern Interventional Pain Center. Dr. Boltja is board certified in general Neurology. She is the Past-President of the Thomas County Area Medical Society and is a Clinical Instructor on staff at Florida State University School of Medicine and Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Boltja earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University before graduating from Mercer University Medical School in 2002. She trained in Neurology residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr. Boltja has been practicing general neurology (both inpatient and outpatient) since 2006. In addition she was the Medical Director for a Primary Stroke Center, Navicent Health for 5 years. Dr. Boltja was a member/graduate of the Georgia Physicians Leadership Academy in 2015, and has received numerous American Heart Association awards related to the care of stroke patients.
Dr. Boltja is an active member of the Thomasville community where she resides with her husband and two children. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, attending her kids sporting events, and going to concerts.
